In order to simplify the wearing of the sound processor and to securely maintain it in place


For children and some adults, it is sometimes difficult to keep the sound processor in place on the ear. Here are a few tips that can help the processor hold on the ear comfortably.


Snugfit earhook

       


Hugfit or Snuggie rubber band that completely surrounds the ear


                        


Activity hook



Earmold adaptor for the hearing aid endpiece 


            


 T-Mic retainer endpiece

(For users of the Advanced Bionics Naída CI sound processor)

A clip for attaching the sound processor to your clothing

 

                


Headworn adaptor that lets you wear your sound processor on your head

(For N7 users only)

Safety or other type of cord used to attach the sound processor to your clothing


        


Wig tape

(Place on the side of the processor in contact with the head.)



Resembles double-sided tape and sold in individual strips (www.vapon.com) or rolls in most major stores.

 

Rubber band that attaches the sound processor to the eyeglass temple



Headband or scarf

*Be careful not to block the sound processor’s microphones with the fabric.
